
FOUNDER AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Sifiso Ndwandwe is an accomplished Enterprise Development practitioner, trainer, and facilitator with over 25 years in the Enterprise Development sector in SADC. He was the founding chairperson of the Cooperative Bank Development Agency (CBDA) for a period of 6 years. He is a master trainer for ILO under the programme of SIYB and has previously trained and coached various cooperatives on governance and business management. Outside South Africa, he has worked for CARE International. He serves on various Boards in the corporate and development sectors.
He is an experienced leader that is committed to entrepreneurship and the triple-bottom-line philosophy. He has significant work experience in the three sectors of the economy – development, government and the corporate sector and has been in leadership for many years and served and chaired boards of national significance.
Over the years he has mentored and coached over 250 SMMEs in various industries and many have won many awards and gone on to be successful nationally and internationally. His passion has always been in entrepreneurship and economic development.
SKILLS & ENDORSEMENTS /INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE
- Nominated as one of the top 100 managers in South Africa in 1998 by a leadership magazine.
- The Cooperative Banks Development Agency, CBDA, founding Chairman, led the establishment phase of this statutory entity within the National Treasury.
- Facilitated the sourcing of over R100m direct funding during his tenure at MDA and impacted approximately 50,000 livelihoods over the same period.
- Facilitated the outsourcing to the empowerment entities in the Mondi Group to the value of over R500,000,000 in a year through entrepreneurship and supplier development programme.
